These are the questions that I have, please help!
1. The distance to Mars and Pluto from the Sun is 1.5 and 39.5 AU, respectively. Show that their equilibrium temperature is approximately 210 and 38 K, respectively, given their albedo of 0.25 (Mars) and 0.4 (Pluto) and the solar luminosity above.
2.In addition to the Hemission originating from n = 3 →2 transition of electron in Hydrogen, two other important transitions are n = 2 →1 (called Ly alpha) and n = 4 →2 (called H Beta). Calculate the wavelengths of these two transitions
3. The wavelength of the H alpha transition from Star A that you have been observing is 557.9 nm. (Note that its intrinsic wavelength is 656.3 nm.) Calculate the speed of Star A. Is it moving away from you or moving towards you?
