Why does sometimes deleting an unwanted email gets the next good one deleted too into trash?

Occasionally when I delete emails using the check boxes or when I individually do a delete, the email that follows the last deleted one also gets deleted.  I've tried changing the mouse double click speed with no luck.  Seems like when the email window does a refresh it has forgotten which entry was deleted and deletes the next one in the stack.  Doesn't always happen, so when I see the next entry missing, I retrieve from the Trash...any ideas?

Could it be that you are on a mobile and the mobile is treating one click as two when sending data to the Yahoo servers? I have never heard of this happening in a desktop mode.
