Taken from the Bible some people have claimed that women cannot wear pants, or serve in the military, or wear their hair short. Other experts on the Bible claim that the verse should be interpreted as a promoting gender segregation to avoid illicit sexual contact. 

In any case, the vast majority of people would not consider crossplay for amusement/comedy or other forms of recreation to be sinful, as long as it is not intended for immoral sexual gratification.
