He's a politician, it shouldn't surprise you that he has double standards. He's refusing to follow his own mask mandate because he, like most other politicians, believe subconsciously that they are above the American people and therefore above the law. He believes that he is part of the elite, and the rest of us are peasants who must abide by his ridiculous policies. Of course, he and other Democrat politicians are allowed to travel, attend gatherings, not wear a mask and do whatever they want because they're the aristocracy.

Liberals love to pass restrictive laws they don’t follow.    New York became a pandemic epicenter because despite stay at home orders people were out in shoulder to shoulder crowds.   The governor of California said he was tough on social distancing then attended a maskless dinner party.   

It’s easy to pass a law to make one appear serious, but as the saying goes, actions mean more than words.   Biden’s actions speak for themselves.
