Is it true atheists don't believe in things they can't see? If so, why do they believe in COVID-19?

Atheists simply believe there is no God.  The attitude you describe is more closely associated with the Zetetics, who are for instance flat Earthers because they don't see that the world is round and therefore don't believe it is.  Oddly, these people are usually theist.

Actually, we can see COVID-19 with an electron microscope. More to the point, there are things we can see the effects of, even though we can't actually see what is causing those effects, like gravity. And God.

The question supplies NO DATA or survey   about  ATHEIST  position   , EACH ATHEIST is a individual person with individual thoughts

ATHEIST  a PERSON , not convinced of  god proposition PERIOD .  indicates  no information on any other issue .. Atheism is NOT a " BELIEF SYSTEM "  has no  doctrine of promoted  BELIEFS  .

. COVID  19 is a VIRUS  its not a  "IDEA" or a proposition its a FACT , and demonstrable

VIRUS  a infectious agent  microscopic  that typically consist  of NUCLEIC ACID MOLECULES  in a PROTEIN coat  is able to MULTIPLY ONLY within a LIVING  HOST

Because you can see COVID-19. Have you never heard of a microscope?

they not only can see it, they are able to take it apart and see all the different DNA molecules that make it up and design a protein that will attack and kill it.  That is how they made the COVID-19 vaccines.

No, that's not true.  Simple-minded Christians who can't grasp the concept of "evidence' say that. Atheists don't believe things that aren't supported by any objective evidence, not things we "can't see."

We do not believe in things for which there is zero EVIDENCE.

There is PLENTY of evidence that Covid 19 is real.

    No. You misunderstand atheists.

    Your premise is incorrect.

I can accept the existence of many things that can not be seen.

Inert gases like Helium, Radon and Neon can not be seen, but we can go into a lab and test for them. Our lab tests will prove that they all exist.

Similarly we can run tests for the coronavirus, and prove that the patient is indeed suffering from Covid-19.

Atheists would then ask how we can test for the existence of any and all gods using scientific methodology in a lab. To date no test has been produced that makes that possible.

Don't expect atheism to make sense. You'll get a headache trying to work out their reasoning.
