is walking everyday beneficial?
i walk at least a mile a day. will this help me lose weight

Weight loss is based on burning more calories than you eat.
A daily walk means you burn more calories than NOT taking that walk - BUT - it does NOT guarantee that you are burning more calories than what you are eating.
A daily walk can have many healthy benefits even if it doesn't help with weight loss.
If you are not dropping weight and that is your main goal, then either increase your walk or decrease your calorie intake.
