why was the pig vat so much more easily escapable than the pend

on the pend there was only one blade so seths hands should not have broke as there was nothing to crush his hands

that said he was still inmobolized by the trap once the first blade swipe cut him

on the other hand jeffs head is up in the clouds he says lala and finds key

and halden is saved in less than ten seconds from the pat

while halden was killed by shotgun it was fully moronic of him to trip that trap right after he got out of pig vat

so why was seths trial omega like harder
