    Wondershare Filmora.  There is a free version, but the standard edition is inexpensive.  Easy to use.

    If you have Windows 10 there is a free version of DaVinci Resolve @  https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davincir...  The free version is towards the bottom and is a big download so make sure you have plenty of space on your hard drive.

    For editing, I use VSDC but for simple cuts and conversions, I use Handbrake, Video to Video and Avidemux.
