For those who have been tested for Covid-19: How far in advance did you have to schedule it and how long did you wait on the day of testing?

I'm not sure that this answer means anything to anybody anywhere...

I called the phonenumber around 14.00, had the appointment at 18.37, had to wait there like 5 minutes.

They called me to say the test was negative, at 10.45 next morning.

Depending on where you live and how many people feel the need to get tested, your mileage WILL vary

My sister had to get tested before she had surgery on her hand not too long ago. The test appointment was scheduled just a few days prior, and I don't think she had to wait at all on the day she was tested. Where you live might have some bearing on this, though.

It depends on where you are.  I had a lab request, and just showed up. Some places require you schedule in advance.
