There no such thing as a solution with concentration "2.00 × 10^3 moles/liter", so supposing you meant "2.00 × 10^-3 moles/liter":
(2.00 × 10^-3 moles/liter) × (0.500 liter) = 1.00 × 10^-3 moles/liter
