Should I be worried about getting COVID if I have cough variant asthma ? ?

Recently I had a bad cough for a few weeks and been to the doctors a few times tested for COVID numerous times and all came back negative. My doctor said it could be cough asthma I suffer from allergies year round and never had this happen before I’m 26. I’m his eyes he said it could be bronchitis or allergies but it’s hard to tell I had a chest X-ray done it my lungs were normal I’m just a bit nervous.I have a pump to that he said should help with the cough. Up until today I never heard of cough asthma
