A jet plane leaves city A and is heading toward city at a bearing of 120°, If the distance between the two cities are 2600 KM?

A jet plane leaves city A and is heading toward city at a bearing of 120°, If the distance between the two cities are 2600 KM, 

1. How far north and how far west is city A relative to city B. Round the answers to the

nearest KM.

2. If the jet is to return directly from city 3 to city A, at what bearing should it travel?

Would number 1 be 4503 km and 2600km?  or is it asking me solve for the hypotenuse?

    1.  A is 1300 km north of B, and A is 2252 km west of B (2600 km * cos(60)).   The 2600 IS the hypotenuse.

    2.  120 + 180 = 300 degrees.

    No matter what, the distance north or the distance west will always be less than or equal to the direct distance.
