when mother dogs really love and care about their little ones by licking them to keep the puppies stay clean and healthy and giving them some loves .it same like human mothers give love to their children . so your dog doing that to hers . its healthy and normal for all animals mothers hoods . dont need to worried so much about it .

Another ignorant BYBer.  Mama's do that to stimulate the pups to pee & poop.  Do some research on raising puppies.  Not knowing anything about breeding dogs can lead to some serious issues.  I wish BYBing could be banned so people cannot breed their pets.  You need to know A LOT more than you know.  Ignorance is not bliss.

This is to clean them and make sure the genitals aren't dirty. Mother dogs (or bitches if you're going to use the actual term) clean their pups regularly. What the other person said could also be right as well.
