Does private school better prepare people for going to Oxford and Cambridge \ passing their interview?
People who go to private school can spout nonsense\bulls**t better than people who attend comprehensives. They are often tutored specifically in passing the interview. In spite of the two universities efforts to accept a higher proportion of non-private students - haven't it Ruskin College which drops the exam requirements for working-class students? - around half of Oxford and Cambridge students, I heard, were privately-educated. That information is about 10 years old, but I don't think it's out-of-date.
