Do you really have to be 18 or older in order to make a YT video?

Hi! I’ve been wanted to make a video for a long time now but I do respect being said that I’m not allowed to make videos. I’ve been told that it’s a law that you need to 18 years or older to make a yt video. I kinda feel like thats not true but dont know for sure. I’m sure it says that you gotta be 13 years or older to make a video. What do you guys think? The image below is me being told through a text message.

Update:

I forgot to tell you that I’m 15

No. You can make videos as a child.

The 18 part is that the account must be set up and managed by someone 18 or older but it can be in the name of the actual video maker, as far as I can remember.

I have a young relative who's been making videos & posting them to youtube since he was eight, with the assistance of one of his parents.
