Two people in my house have had covid and I get a cold sore on my lip every time they have it?

Is this my body's way of fighting covid without actually getting it? Is it possible that I'm immune to it in a sense?

Not really. When cold sores come out, it means your immune system is actually at its weakest, allowing for the cold sore virus to resurface.
