yes, that is just what I do.  you get tired of hearing the same news, on Monday all day long and then see the same news on Sunday

I just watch the headlines on the BBC news, to see which of the days big news stories they're deliberately pretending they don't know about.

I'm not even watching the TV for weather.

It's the little clock in the corner that is the most useful/practical offering.

NB.

I save literally actual money by not purchasing batteries for wall clocks etc.

It's environmental responsibility too, you know. Ban wall clocks today.
