Absolutely NOT! Student visas are solely for the purpose of studying. You are required to attend school in-person full-time, and are strictly prohibited from working. Furthermore, to apply for student visa, you were required to prove you (& your parents) had sufficient funds for all school + living expenses + return transportation to your country of citizenship. You have no need to work - or else you committed visa fraud by claiming you had ample funds for all your needs.

An F-1 visa typically allows students to work a limited number of hours for pay. Usually students will get part-time jobs on campus. After graduation, you can work full-time for a limited period under OPT.
