Should I move out of the apartment I share with my ex.?

My Ex girlfriend and I moved in together and it didn't work out. We're on good terms and I still live in the apartment but we still have 3 months on the lease. I dont have anywhere else to go but if I want to start dating again I would imagine that would look bad.

Start to look for a place to live and if necessary, give her half the rent.
