What is a crime that people don't really do anymore....?

And is counterfeit cash one of them?

    Rob banks.

Steal £50k from a bank , 10 years in prison

    Steal £5m online, 2 years.

Why risk it , especially as there’s far less chance of getting caught.

Obscene phone calls simply don't happen any more.

Counterfeiting continues to thrive and is quite sophisticated.

People still try to pass counterfeit money. Train robbery is not done no more.

Actually, with copy machines and home printers, counterfeiting cash has become easier than at any other time in history.

Hijacking planes.  Yes, it still happens, but not nearly as much as it once did.

I *did* have no idea. Now though, train robbery comes to mind. No more Jesse Jameses

. Counterfeiting is a huge thing in North and South America. South Americans (forgot which country) got so skilled in counterfeiting $100 bills that the Secret Service called the bills Super Notes. (In the US, a $100 is called a C Note sometimes... colloquially).

Robbing stagecoaches. But counterfeiting money is still a pretty widespread crime. Enough that grocery store cashiers still run a highlighter over bills to make sure they're authentic.
