As a general rule, these come to mind: informed, competent, devoted to public service. Quite the opposite of what we had with Trump, which were uniformed, incompetent, tribal, and devoted to self-aggrandizement.

You can see the incompetence that could eventually lead to wars. Biden's staff. The adversarial nations will size things up, find advantages and make gains. The only question is that within the bureaucrat/democrat/government/party is there a political faction that is pro USA in some form. Or are they all anti-USA. If the anties control, the USA will surrender the gains to the adversaries. If the old line democrats control, they will fight. I think the 2 international problems will be Formosa/China and Iran/ISIS. None of which would happen with Trump.

Biden's appointments are the swamp. Many have ties to China, many have been convicted of crimes and the remaining appointments are put in positions because of "special favors". It is really a bleak future for America.

They're for the most part better.
although I think Biden made a few missteps --- like he appointed a non-veteran with no background in managing hospitals to be Secretary of Veterans Affairs, that doesn't make sense.
Trump is simply not capable of appointing good people very often. Although James Mattis was good.
