Longshot, looking for a book I read when I was younger but don’t know what it was called....?

I Have very vague memories of this book but I remember it being very good. What I remember: I think it starts with a girl visiting a therapist or some sort of therapy. I remember dialogue of how fracking led to global warming and the statue of Christ the redeemer falling...any chance any one knows what book this is....
