I have a preteen who constantly talks to herself . Should I be worried ? What can be causing this ?

She has no companions or siblings and is homeschooled due to covid . It’s driving me insane . Her teacher once reported that she witnessed her gesticulating and talking to herself in the hallway. What can I do ??

Talk to her. Be sure to regularly provide some real companionship to her, not just a passing comment or two. And there's nothing wrong with what she is doing.
