We are essentially carnivores who eat plant based food when there is no other alternative. This has been the natural human diet since the dawn of time.

Not eating meat could leave you vitamin B deficient as well as deficient in some amino acids. If you cut out meat, you'll need to eat a lot more bulk in vegetables. Just look at how cows and sheep graze all day. That may be fine for a secretary, but a mechanic won't get much work finished.

Depends, but for most people, Yes. Meat is hard to digest and increases bad cholesterol levels. The small amount of protein in meat is easily be obtained from eggs, legumes or nuts. The disadvantages of eating meat outweigh its benefits. The answer below is wrong, btw... Humans are *omnivores, not carnivores.

No, you were made to consume meat. Eating less meat has the benefit of having less calories but that’s it. Eating meat is important while growing for proper brain development and women while they’re pregnant and on their periods. People can deny all they want, but you naturally crave meat.
