They were true believers in Trump. They were doing what he said. Just listen to what the arrested ones are saying. Begging for pardons because they did what he wanted, except they didn't get their hands on anyone to make a show of strength, or have a "trial by combat". They did bring a gallows then say they didn't intend to hurt anyone. Trump and his friends should all be tried for treason and given life of hard labor in Levinworth.

You can pretty much tell about the "riot" by looking at the deaths. Cop shot someone for no reason, one woman crushed from no police crowd control, and 3 deaths due to medical conditions, like heart attacks. Hardly, the stuff of mobs as made out by the news media. More media hype and democrat political narrative.
