If rights are not permanent why do people act as though they are more than just opinion?
I live in the US here the rights are not permanent you can lose your right to speak and hold beliefs if society deems them obscene via the obscenity law.
And on top of that roe versus Wade is always under threat that makes the right not permanent.
so rights are literally just the societies opinion of what is okay why do people act like there's something different?

Certain rights are natural rights. They exist by the very nature of being alive. Certain other rights are created by law.
All rights can be taken away and must be fought for. But natural rights are permanent, they always exist; it is only their denial that is temporary. Man-made rights are always temporary.

Rights are permanent. They are also violated.
Part of the issue is far too many people, including you, don't know what rights are.

Rights last just as long as there's someone to enforce them. "Human rights" in many countries are not even worth the paper they're printed on.
