How come most people talk so highly of high school?

High school sucks ***. You get bullied a lot if you're a guy and women reject you if you're not good looking or popular enough. All about keeping appearances up.

well, those that WERE the popular people live off that success the rest of their lives.

or rather,  TRY TO,  and are the types to attend a 40 year reunion and *still* talking about High school,  like it was their BEST years ever,   (probably because , they were----for them)

Other people  actually go on to do far better and more exciting things....... but all those people that peaked early in High school........that will probably BE the hilight of their lives.-----with no real further accomplishments to speak of.

Sounds like American high schools.  British ones aren’t as extreme as that. Yes, there is the unofficial meritocracy, but it isn’t as pronounced as in US high schools, and once you leave and go to University or the big wide world, it doesn’t matter anyway.
