How to put this/title this on my resume?

During college I would help out in the family business during holiday periods or whenever I was home from campus. I did various duties that were both administrative & non-administrative, given this along with not being a permanent, formal employee what title should I put in the resume for this ‘position’?

Also, is it ok to omit the name of the business as it’s quite an odd name & just put “family business”.

    You need to list the name of the company.  If you are too embarrassed to do that, then you don't but it on the resume.  Same is true if you didn't actually get paid for the work.

    Dates of employment

    Company Name

    Title:  part-time assistant or associate 

    As with anything you put on a resume, you have to decide if listing it will help you get the job you're applying for.

    Did you work for months in the summer and get paid? 

    Name of business

    Dates

    Title = part-time assistant

    If you didn't get paid, it doesn't go on your resume.
