my hair is dry despite not having washed it in over a week?

My hair used to be very oily and smooth, now it's dry, tangly and rough.  It's dead looking.  Could this indicate a disease like diabetes?

Update:

It's been like this since spring of 2020.

  • Diabetes has nothing to do with your hair drying out. Some times hair just gets dry on it's own for no reason.

If you're spending more time indoors, indoor heating and cooling systems can dry your hair out.

Get a good quality deep conditioner or a hair mask and even a leave in conditioner could help.

Try using Argon oil shampoo and conditioner next time you wash your hair

It has nothing to do with diabetes. It does however have something to do with lockdown, a lot of people are reporting that their hair has become dry since March/April of 2020.
