How to remove the fuel rail and injectors in a 2008 3.6 Cadillac CTS Direct Injection ?

I have the intake off of the car and I’m looking at the fuel rail that is in place over the injectors. I have attempted to pull the fuel rail out of the engine with force but it still won’t move probably because there is little room to pull it off without hitting The heads. Any recommendations on a better way to do this procedure without taking the head off would be greatly appreciated

    You can't "pull" it off.

If that was possible, the fuel pressure inside would blow it off.

Find the fasteners and remove them.

Then it's a twist, lift, pull trick.

This looks like a question for Scotty Kilmer.

Me - Scotty, how  would you go about removing he fuel rails?

Scotty - . There are four retaining bolts holding the rail down and 4 injectors. Now realise this can cause an engine fire if you don’t disconnect the battery. You can always go to your local AutoZone to get a *******. And remember, to ring that bell!! DONG!

I think I pretty much nailed it on how Scotty Kilmer talks.

    READ THE FACTORY MAINTENANCE MANUAL

    OBTAIN THE CORRECT TOOLS

    FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS

    REMOVE THE FUEL RAIL

    It's not exactly rocket science..

Check if ALL the mounting hardware has been removed and remove all the injectors FIRST.
