My ONN TV is echoing ?

Question

I also have a roku and am subscribed to sling TV. I can't figure out which one is messing up. Although when I use my antenna for local channels, the sound doesn't echo. Any help?

I factory reset my Roku (its an older one, so that may be the problem)

I hope, because I can't afford to buy a nice TV right now.

It could be my net also. Ugh this sucks!

Ah. It was my older model Roku. I factory reset it, now it's fine.

If your TV was causing the echo, 

you would hear it regardless of the signal source, 

so don't say that your TV is echoing.    

                 

Say instead that there is an echo when you use your other devices.    

                

It is probably best described as a repeat.    

                  

I wish I had some idea why it would happen, but I don't.

Probably some sort of glitch caused by the HDMI processing (copy protection). Try turning off the audio delay in the tv settings.
