Doctor wants me to take covid test and quarantine for 3 days before surgery. will DI pay me for those 3 days along with my time off work?

Your leave benefits should pay you -- medical, annual or similar.

If you have no benefits then no one will pay you

If you have sick leave at work, yes.  If you don't get sick leave at work, then no.
