Mask a law?
Do you think wearing a face mask will become a federal law?

Where in the federal Constitution did the States give the federal government the power to do that? Such things are OUTSIDE of federal powers and thus the sole power of the States to regulate. Yes, feds may pass laws to strongarm states into compliance, but that's not the same as having a federal law enforced by federal police powers.

It is such an easy and harmless request to wear a mask. For those who " medically" cannot do so, then they should have someone else do their grocery shopping, get curb side pick-up or order on-line! They have options.
Very LITTLE to ask, really!
By the Grace of God, no one I know has died of Covid-19... YET!
Wear a damn mask!

No. A temporary solution so as not to infect others or be infected by others until the virus is under control. If white folks would get with the program MAYBE we can slow down the spread. If that can happen, guess what, we could stop having to wear them. It's not taking away freedoms its common decency.

It SHOULD. What the inconsiderate don't realize is that they may pass on the virus to someone who is immunocompromised which can lead to a possible mutation of the virus. Just because it doesn't affect the rest at this stage, doesn't mean it won't in the future once it mutates inside a immunocompromised body.
The more it mutates, the less effective the vaccines will become.

On federal property - and IT SHOULD have been LLLOOONNNGGG ago! (Also add all forms of public transportation)
AND EVERY state SHOULD BE requiring them too!
Fed ans State SHOULD BE HUGE fines if you refuse to comply (in the thousands at least!)

Don't think that the Feds can do that. They could link federal aid to states that pass mask mandates and make a temporary OSHA requirement.

No, laws are for permanent things. We're hoping that if people wear masks voluntarily, it won't be necessary to make it permanent, because then this coronavirus will go away.
