The UK's aviation sector "urgently" needs more government support if it is to survive another long period of travel curbs, industry groups say. The government said it was committed to supporting the travel industry.

  • Fcuk them, basically.

Private companies will have to go bust & once / if things return to normal some other greedy cnut can buy it cheap.

Public money should not be used to support the Airline Industry.

Without government help airlines will go bust and regional airports will close if the income from flying passengers is reduced even more due to the severe restrictions imposed in response to the growing number of new variants to the virus. God help us if a variant gets into the country that the current vaccines don't deal with.

Eventually enough people get immunity by inoculation, until then measures stay in place to control the spread.

Nobody knows 'what's next' really as the situation with this wretched virus changes almost by the hour.

I'd imagine the airlines want to keep flying for as long as possible.   Is all.
