Cancel Life Alert contract?

I want to cancel my Life alert  contract after 6 months because of dire financial problems, can I do this?

It’s my wife’s turn to cook dinner tonight, and so if I want to know what she intends to cook do you think it would be best if I ask total strangers online or ask my wife?
