With all the new Covid strains will countries start stepping it up a rolling out the vaccines faster?

The new strains of covid are more contagious.  They aren't ENORMOUSLY more contagious. 

Without masking and social distancing:

old variate = 6 people would likely cause 32 people to get infected

new variate = 6 people would likely cause 37 people to get infected.

With masking and social distancing the new variate would cause one or two people extra people to become infected.
