If a person has side effects after a sympathectomy, will they not repeat it?

I had a sympathectomy and I had high blood pressure that lasted a couple of days. The highest it got was 178/98 and also had a higher heart rate. Also, i had chest pain and a bad coughing fit that lasted probably 3 minutes before i took my inhalor this was all after i was back at home.

Hypothetically after some time, if the nerves grow back would a doctor repeat the sympathectomy despite these side effects???
