Why are there dog parks but not cat parks?

I don't see the logic.

Cats don't really need to run around and expel energy in huge empty spaces. They'd much rather play with a laser toy inside than run around. They don't in general need to go outside to do their restroom business the way dogs do either. Cats aren't gonna be social with other cats like dogs are. Cats get easily stressed in new situations. It's just not needed.

Because people generally don't walk cats. Cat's typically run loose and come home when they get cold or hungry. Also, cat lovers usually don't associate with dog owners because many dog owners hate cats and call them sneaky. Uneducated dog owners often expect a cat to act like a dog and when they don't, the bad attitude appears.

When you can get a group of cat owners together that teach their cats goo recall, and how to be on a leash successfully and not to wander, kill wildlife etc then take them to the city comissioner, petition for them to build a designated area for a cat park.  Until then you will have to suffer walking your cat on a leash on your own.

Because cats are homebodies and don't care to socialize with other people or cats.

Cats also don't need to go outside to exercise.    They can be easily entertained indoors if you're not too stupid or too lazy

Because cats are smart, special, don't get into trouble and 💯 athletic. They don't need to be pampered with a park. 

Dogs are incompetent without training the stupid out of them. Even when you do its not good enough. Dogs need a park because they are dangerous and have tendencies to roam away and attack people who are minding their business or people who hate dogs. 

Dog parks are just away to hide the errors of the dog because they are dangerous when in public space. 

Then you have the mentally ill dog owners who will not hold any accountability when their mutt causes conflict. 

Dog parks are for worthless mutts and their mentally ill owners. It helps them avoid conflict because with out a dog park. Dog owners would allow their mutt to cause conflict.
