With a lorry coming from up north and kent access only for 24 hours does one break driving hours!?

If one is coming with an export from Scotland and going via Dover the Kent permit is only valid for 24 hours, does one break driving hours as to get to Kent takes a normal drive of 2 days.

Update:

When contacted the agency was not sure, however if you can go via another route and avoid kent like the plague. The first agent had to get his supervisor. They still are not sure about if one can actually move peoples furniture across the border anyway and who signs the kent request. Those that wanted a brexit need to be thoroughly ashamed of themselves that they were so thick they did not realise that the country will be screwed and the fishermen have obviously been sleeping in their nets.

When applying for the pass, you need to provide details of when you are likely to arrive.

the expected date and time of arrival of the HGV in Kent    the registration number (front number plate) of the HGV
