List of data from formatted hard drive?

Hi I lost many many archives in a hard drive and got a program to recover them but it doesnt recover with the names or the file folder name, anyone knows a program who can give me a list of the archives

there is no way to know, as that info is stored in the MFT, which is not easily recoverable.

Looks like the master file record was corrupted. There is no recovery from that.

problem is that the directory lists were in the material that was formatted [reused for something else].  i know of no program that can do what you ask ... maybe a byte editor can find and recover part of that old list ... and it will be very tedious work -- at best.  -- grampa
