Many people online are saying now that the people with Confederate flags and Trump 2020 flags who attacked the Capitol in support of Donald Trump were not actually Trump supporters, but Antifa in disguise to make Trump and his supporters look bad.

 

   Do you believe that these people who committed vandalism and violence at the Capitol were actually Antifa impersonating Trump supporters, or were they actual Trump supporters?

No. Those people rioting inside the Capitol building were actual Trump supporters who already bought into the conspiracy theory that the election was rigged. So it doesn't surprise me that Trump supporters would buy into yet another ludicrous conspiracy theory about a false flag operation involving Antifa members to make them look bad.

The FBI says there was no indication that antifa was present during the protests.

In fact, there was someone there wearing an "anti-antifa" shirt which is dumb because 'antifa' means 'anti-fascist'. You know, like, anti-Hitler or anti-Mussolini.

Saying you're "anti-antifa" means you're pro-fascism, not anti-communist.

The misinformed tend to misrepresent antifa as being communists. It's like people thinking atheism is a religion.

The "many people" saying that are the conservative lie machines like Fox "News" who have produced no evidence that it is true.  Every person identified so far is a Trump supporter.

well they had a right to riot and burn buildings in new york and pull down monuments , so why not the capitol building , or democrats are allowed but republicans are not , so much for democracy .seems like its closer to communism doesnt it ..
