How do I fix my computer?? ?
I just brought a dell computer from eBay. They sent with a regular vga cord (The blue tip) but when I connected everything and booted up the computer. I got a black with a message saying my computers tower has a graphics card that need a different type of connector to show the design. And my system is in halted. What type connector is this. Geek squad doesn’t know. I can’t find it anywhere. What do I do ?? Of how can I bypass this. Really want to use my computer but can’t cause of this

That type of connector hasn't been used in a long time. It was common on workstation class machines about 10 years ago for connecting dual monitors. There was a pigtail that could have either two DVI or VGA plugs on the other end. It is called a DMS-59 connector.Source(s): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DMS-59

well why are you using ancent desktop computers in the first place? desktop computers get only used in school cause they are heavy and hard to steal. And what is a graphic "tower"?

sounds like you put a gpu into a pci slot that does not accept a gpu. What model of dell is it? and what model of GPU card is it?
