Piers - Palm Beach Florida (from homes)?

See the attached image.

Are these private piers for home owners to use for their boats?

If so, does anybody know if a home owner must pay a fee to the county for having such a pier adjacent to their property?

    They are called Boat Slips.

They are deeded with the house.

The owner of the property needs to maintain them.

If you want to do major construction or add a new one, you need to get that permitted.

If the pier touches land on a private property, then it is a private pier and can only be used by the owner of the property or their guests for their boats or any legal activity, though if there was some emergency I doubt if most people would mind someone else landing at their pier.
