If my holiday from UK to Egypt gets cancelled because of Covid, will I get a refund?

I booked a holiday in November 2020 to travel to Egypt in September 2021 when I expect Covid would be over by then, the travel company agreed it would be. Now we have gone into another lockdown as of midnight, what will happen if my holiday gets cancelled? I paid £7000. Am I entitled to a full refund? I did not yet take out insurance as I usually do that a few weeks before we travel.

Probably not, you're more likely to be able to rebook at a later date.

If you don't have insurance - probably not.

Check with the company you booked with whether you can change your travel dates, or get any money back if you have to cancel entirely.
