I’ve done both, but I suggest skis if you only have a short time to learn. Skiing is fairly easy to learn. Snowboarding takes patience. It involves a lot of falling and frustration before you get the hang of it. If you’re not serious about learning, and you just wanna have fun on a trip, stick with skis.
