PS4 Pro Power Supply?

My PS4 Pro’s power supply recently went out, and I took the system apart. Mine has a ADP-300CR supply, but they’re so damn expensive!

I was wondering if I could use a ADP-160CR off of a PS4 Slim instead. I heard they’re interchangeable, but I want to make certain before any purchases are made.

They have the same supply and power cables, and look exactly the same from what I can see.

Thank you and best regards!

uh, only if you don't want your PS4 to run well. they are HALF the power of the one you need! why do you think the Pro performs better than the normal one?

just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you should. it could damage your system. $70 is not that bad:

The clue is in the writing. The ADP-300CR is a 300W power supply, the ADP-160CR is a 160W power supply. So the ADP-160CR hasn't the power.
