Does anyone know what the solution would be to geometry question: AB = 10 and CD = 18. FIND EB BC and AC ?
The image is a triangle with A labeled at the tip of the 🔺 E and B labeled on both sides and D and C labeled on the bottom corners.

Not enough information. I tried to draw a picture from your description and the lengths of the other sides can't be determined.
There must be some marks for congruent sides or angles, parallel segments, etc.
Next time post a picture.
UPDATE:
After some searching, I found an identical problem. The additional marks were to show that EB was the mid-segment (with AB=BC and AE=ED).
The mid-segment EB is half the base (CD). And congruent segments have equal measure. And if a segment (like AC) is made of 2 smaller segments, its length is the sum.
