What do you do when your stuck at a grocery store with no transportation home? Do the police help or is that not their job?

DONT FORGET: I SAID I HAD NO TRANSPORTATION!!! Walking is transportation!!!

SO WHAT DO I DO IF THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO?!!!! That is all I am asking people. If you dont know, dont answer.

Family and friends is transportation, I need transportation that I'm NOT thinking of (duh).

As a general rule, police do not provide services that are available from private business. 

I suppose the practical answer is to do whatever you did to get to the grocery store.

You just declared the premise of the original question IMPOSSIBLE.

That said, the police won't offer transportation anywhere with the POSSIBLE exception of jail.
