How bad of a scar does a lip piercing leave?

I got the bottom right side of my lip pierced back in August. Back then I had a big urge to get one. I still like it, but I’m starting to have second thoughts on it. I do blame myself for impulsively doing this. I have been cleaning it and taking care of it. How bad would the scar be?

if done properly it won't leave a scar
