I've made a fake account to view my ex friend, is this bad of me?

I only made it to view them as I missed them a bit and they blocked me

Now they unblocked me but I feel safer viewing them with the fake profile

I'm afraid so. If you read Facebook's Community Standards, this action falls under misrepresentation. That means you can't create fake accounts. You can risk getting that account disabled if caught, and possibly your main one.

Yes thats Stalking not to mention against Facebook's TOS Terms of Service to make more then 1 Account
